Gone Hollywood: Czar helps create Oscars VIP lounge

First the Super Bowl, now the Academy Awards! Czarnowski recently helped create Dolby's new VIP Lounge, which will play host to Oscar nominees like Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway and Ben Affleck this Sunday. Designed to resemble "what sound looks like," the lounge features a curved fabric ceiling, glowing tables and sound waves on the walls. It was open only to nominees and VIPs on Oscar night, the first at the newly rebranded Dolby Theatre (previously named the Kodak).
Several of Czarnowski's western locations worked together on the project, including San Francisco (sales, engineering, management), Denver (rentals) and LA (install). Nice work, folks!

MINI Gadgets LA Auto 2013

The LA Auto Show kicked off this week with a preview for press. Czar customer MINI (whose slot machine at least year's show earned Czar an Exhibit Design Award) showed off its newest Czar-created gadget: a custom-built joystick. The larger-than-life gadget mirrors the one drivers use to control MINI's Connected system, which integrates iPhone apps into the vehicle and allows drivers to access their phone's music, maps and more. Once connected to an iPhone, the driver can view phone data through a console-mounted screen and control the system through a mini-joystick located near the gear shift. That's right -- a car with a joystick. Fun, right?

CZAR's SAE/Detroit Title Sponsor Collaboration

The pinnacle of automotive engineering convocations is held annually in Detroit, Michigan. For the 2012 event, Czarnowski was asked to bid on providing a co-branded display for the title sponsor(s), Nissan and GE.

The goal of the RFQ was to secure an experienced exhibit marketing company to design, build and deliver an exceptional property that highlighted both high profile brands with distinction and parity.  Also important was partnering with an organization that could effectively communicate the two individual technology stories as a unified, complementary and singular story. Czar was selected as the partner of choice.

Key messaging:
·  Nissan & GE collaborate to provide distinct products(s) that communicate with each other and deliver resourcefully functional technology
·  If a home loses electrical power, the Nissan Leaf can act as a power source to operate any GE appliances in the home.  Nissan and GE’s software collaboration allows the GE nucleus to ‘talk to’ the Nissan Leaf, and in turn, the Leaf can talk to GE appliances.
·  Nissan’s commercial vehicle quick charger charges electric vehicles in 20 minutes or less.  Detroit was the North American debut of the quick charger.  Other consumer based chargers, wall and pedestal mount, were also featured.

Here's more about this unique and powerful team:  Nissan GE Collaboration

CZAR Flys High....yet again!

For the second consecutive year, Czarnowski has earned an EXHIBITOR Magazine Exhibit Design Award in the “Excellent Elements” category. This year’s award recognizes the product display/iPad interface Czarnowski designed and fabricated for Gulfstream at NBAA 2012.

Gulfstream designs, develops, manufactures and services the world’s most technologically advanced business aircraft. Czarnowski drew inspiration from the design of Gulfstream aircraft to create an exhibit that is clean and streamlined throughout. The award winning component within the exhibit is a series of model aircraft with integrated iPad interfaces that employ swooping curves and angled mounting to convey soaring. This solution enabled Gulfstream to deliver specific information about each of its aircraft models without having to bring full-sized aircraft into its exhibit.

The Exhibit Design Awards honor the world's best trade show exhibit designs. The competition draws domestic and international entrants from countries such as Turkey, Switzerland, Israel, Australia, and the Netherlands.

CZAR CJs ROCK Las Vegas!

EXHIBITOR is such a fantastic experience, one that our team looks forward to every year!  I wanted to thank you all for a fantastic ‘opening night’ party that helped to get us in the right frame of mind for the show (and classes)!  It was such an enjoyable experience where we were able to mingle with other trade show marketers and your team without pressure.  It was so incredible to see people walking the show floor and in classes with the bright red Chucks on all week.  They were like a badge of honor and an identifier for other CJs.

It’s not often you talk about a party weeks after – but I know that we will be especially when we are all sporting our new "Red Chucks" around the office.  Job well done!”

“ I enjoyed your party and seeing your booth at EXHIBITOR.  Both were very impressive and I am very impressed with your operation.  When we decide to send out an RFP for new booth properties or any type of tradeshow consulting, I will be sure to have you at the top of my list.

This is just a glimpse of our EXHIBITOR impact in the words of a couple of very happy CJs who, dare we say, are now Czarnowski fans for life.  Curve JUMPing proved to be the activity of choice and quite a showstopper in Vegas this year.

We hosted a capacity crowd of more than 100 customers and prospects at our JUMP opening night party.  Our speaker sessions were among the best attended and liveliest on the schedule – leaving standing-room-only crowds clamoring for more.  Traffic to our booth was steady and sensational.  Attendees were clearly seeking out and drawn in by the story of CJ – not to mention our breathtaking booth design!  In all, we compiled leads and connected a ton of CJs.

Stay tuned for more CJ success stories as the year goes on.  In the meantime, check out some of the images that really show and tell what Curve JUMPing is all about.

....and again in the ATL!

After nearly a decade in the previous White Street facility, Czarnowski has relocated and opened a 560,000 sq. ft. state of the art "Exhibitions and Events Marketing" facility in Austell, GA.

As a testament to the long term global customers we have partnered with, we continue to grow....and grow. Is it good? Absolutely! With consolidated Operations and Production with Design and Account Management, we have added extreme value to our customer's bottom line.

In addition to the new Hartman Industrial Way address in the ATL area, we have made similar moves in the Las Vegas region by relocating our Production from Las Vegas to the St. George, Utah area while maintaining a new operations center in our new North Las Vegas facility. Having just added a facility in Cologne, Germany and soon in Shanghai we are better suited to support our customer's needs on a global scale.

Please contact mcooper@czarnowski.com to find out more and when you are in the area, stop by and say "hello!"

Here we grow again! Czarnowski Expands in Orlando

Recently, we consolidated our Orlando operations into a single 80,000-square foot sales, design, fabrication and storage facility. The new facility allows us to increase operational and energy efficiencies compared with the two separate buildings we occupied previously. “Orlando is an important destination for our clients so it’s important that we continually retool our processes to maintain state-of-the-art delivery,” says Bob DeFacci, General Manager.

Our Orlando office has experienced continual growth, creating eight new jobs and bringing our team count up to 30 Orlando-based employees over the past three years. “Our team members are the best in the industry. Hard work and dedication to our customers are the reason for our continued success,” says Mark Nagle.

In addition to increasing operational efficiency, the new facility enhances our sustainability efforts. The new building design integrates energy efficient lighting, motion sensors and water saving devices. In addition, we’ll continue to recycle paper, plastics, and metals. Currently, our Orlando location recycles approximately 15,000 pounds of metal per year.
